Rice Ball Making Experience with Freshly Cooked Niigata Rice
While learning about the history of onigiri rice balls and some stories about rice, you will have an opportunity to cook delicious Niigata rice in a traditional earthen pot in front of you and then make onigiri rice balls with your hands.
– Three onigiri rice balls will be made.
– Three types of onigiri fillings (carefully selected seasonal fillings) will be used.
– Miso soup made with miso produced in Niigata will be served.
– Languages: English, Chinese, or Korean.
– Souvenirs (chopsticks and ochoko (a small sake cup)) are included.
Sake Tasting Experience
In Niigata Prefecture, there are 89 sake breweries, making it truly a kingdom of sake in Japan. Enjoy the expertise of a sake sommelier who will provide explanations during the tasting.
– Approx. 10 ochoko cups of sake will be served for tasting.
Snacks that go well with sake will be introduced.

Japanese Cultural Experience Such as Kimono Dressing and Japanese Calligraphy
We will flexibly accommodate your needs, offering experiences such as kimono dressing, Japanese calligraphy, and a Japanese food cooking class. For those visiting Japan, we have a special program that do not only convey the charm of Japan, especially Niigata Prefecture, but also facilitates interaction with local people.
